Beim Blättern durch die WHB Liste bei Kalyn bin ich auf diesen Event gestoßen, der am 10. Juli endet.
Die Idee dahinter ist, Karina trotz ihrer Einschränkungen die Freude am Kochen zu erhalten. Meine erste Idee sind Sommersalate.
Visiting Kalyn´s WHB I came across this event. For the first entry I chose summerly salads, beginning with a cucumber potato salad with tuna and a lot of dill.
Ingredients:
4 potatoes sliced as shown here.
2 little cucumbers
1 garlic clove
dill
olive oil
tarragon vinegar
Preparation:
Cook sliced potatoes in salted water. Mix tuna, olive oil, vinegar in a bowl. Salt and pepper as you like, add potatoes, mix thoroughly, let it cool down a bit, add cucumber and dill,mix again.
Enjoy!
Here comes a stuffed red pepper. The herbs bring all taste.
Ingredients:
2 red peppers in halfes
1 eggplant
1 gourgette
1 garlic clove
12 sage leaves
2 stems olive herbs
olive oil or rape oil
2 sprigs of ysop and blossoms to garnish
Preparation:
Give oil and sage leaves in a pan and stir fry. Add sliced eggplant and gourgette. Fry till golden brown, add olive herb and garlic.
Give pepper halves into a baking form, give some ysop leaves to the bottom of the pepper, then fill with the roasted veggies, put sage leaves above and bake for about 20 minutes at 175°C.

Tuna and dill in the potato salad - I love it!
And cucumber - maybe someday I'll have cucumbers... if the sun ever shines here!
The potato salad looks really pretty! How do you get the nice crinkly effect on the potatoes - is it with a special knife?
